Monday Musings!

So, July has crept in on us.

And good and bad things will happen even in this month no matter how much we pray against them. No matter how much we try to fortify ourselves. It is evident that life must take its course. Life challenges and death is inevitable. As humans, it is the price we pay for the life we’ve been given.

We actually exist without really knowing what lies ahead. We hope and pray that the journey is smooth and without excruciating experiences. But how wrong! The storms must come and we must wade through them gallantly.

Therefore, as the path of life unwinds daily, some of us will find wonders and fears, breakthroughs and breakups, gains and losses, labours of love and a few falling tears. Then across the years, there will be some twist and turns, mistakes to make, and lessons to learn. Hurts and pains. Conflicts and disasters.

BUT through it, all, let us always remember that each one of these situations is but a stepping stone to our greatness. It sounds weird and awkward to say this, I know. But indeed, we learn from our mistakes, mishaps and misdeeds. We shed tears and we move on, carrying with us the vital lessons.

Today, I pray that you and I will be able to cross these BRIDGE’S when we get there because no matter how much we try to avoid them, I’m afraid we are caught in this loop already.

So let’s soldier on. Let us do our best to avoid conflicts and disasters, ie. those avoidable ones.

And to them, that believe in the Powers and in the efficacy of prayers, let’s carry everything about us to HIM in Prayers and supplications even in this month.

Can I get an Amen?

From my heart to yours, stay well and stay safe.

Devotional Nuggets – #89

The prayer of Jabez: Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh that You would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 Continue reading

July Is Here…!

I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition.  – Martha Washington

We Are Now At The Half Way Mark For 2018.

Success Tips!

Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.

Good Morning World!

It’s a lovely Monday morning and I can see the birds flying, the trees gently swaying, the Sky looking down on us and the Sun is up too, shining beautifully.

For that I am GRATEFUL.

May you have a reason to smile today. And even laugh! Feel free to laugh ‘cos Nature bestowed it freely to us all.

And yesterday was Father’s Day. Yess! Our fathers deserved some accolades and I hope you lavished some niceties on the fathers in your life.

I believe that being a father is one of the toughest jobs in the world especially being a good father, and taking up responsibilities of catering for your family without being reminded of them.

You are all heroes in very special ways to your families whether they tell you this or not.

Dear fathers, I hope you enjoyed some thrilling moments with family. Did you receive any special gifts yesterday? Perhaps, you can share some of the wonderful surprises you experienced and those fondest weird things your kids told you. Hmmn!

As you are still basking in the joys of a successful weekend, here is something I’d like us to take away from this morning post.

“The greatest thing a father can do for his children is to respect the woman that gave birth to his children. It is because of her that you have the greatest treasures in your life. You may have moved on, but your children have not. If you can’t be her soulmate, then at least be thoughtful. Whom your children love should always be someone that you acknowledge with kindness. Your children notice everything and will follow your example.” – Shannon L. Alder

I call this *Word on marble.* Only the wise will understand the true meaning of the above quote.

Stay well. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
