Stealthily she arrives Creeping up on us The scent of delicious greenery Of cherry blossoms sprouting up Old things die out
And new things spring forth
Hope rejuvenated in our lives
Such a refreshing change
After the grey bitter cold days
The monochrome shades of winter
To see the fullness of the colours in nature
With the gorgeous delectable aroma
The romantic warmth of spring
Such a euphoric breath of fresh air
To know that Spring is finally here
The sky is filled with endless mysteries. Ever changing and always awestruck no matter how she decides to showcase her wonders.
One minute, she is overflowing with various radiating colours. Sometimes, the twinkling stars shine their lights to the world. Sometimes, it’s the rays from the luminescent moon and other times, the radiating glow of the sunrise and sunset dazzles the whole universe.
But one thing is sure, the pulsating lights from the heavens illuminate the world as they slide across the sky.
Welcome to the 100th day of 2018. Today is April 10th and we have 265 days left for this year to take the backstage. We should be grateful to God for bringing us thus far. But let me ask you a question? What have you been doing since this year began?
Most of us know that the origin of the first 100 days in office which gained prominence from the United States actually started in France many years ago. This tradition has since become a political discourse in world affairs. We are aware how most Politicians promise to perform some good magic within the first 100 days of office. And we also know that to promise the citizens change and heavenly bliss is one thing, while performance and living up to the expectations is another. I always remind myself that there is no better education than travelling. My reason is not far-fetched. It’s borne out of the experiences I’ve garnered from my vast travels.
Travelling gives you a world of boundless possibilities and almost zero limitations. Consider the world as a book and each country as a page. And consider yourself confined only in the comfort of your town or city where you are born and you never travelled out to see other cultures and societies.
