I have written some random facts about me in the past. But it’s an inexhaustible list. So here are some more facts to nibble on today.
I am of the school of thought that anything worth doing is worth doing well with a laugh and a smile. I try to approach life and people with that in mind. When I take stock of my life, I realised a long time that the best thing I can be is kind. Thus, I’m proud of my commitment to kindness. I love drinking tea. I take several cups in a day. I’d say I am addicted to tea. When I need tea, I really must have a cup. Tea brightens my mood.
I love taking long walks. I double the speed, especially in the summer. It affords me time to clear my head of any apparent congestions and blurry visions as I reflect on life.
I have a great penchant for bright colours. It’s a cultural thing from where I come from but my exposure to the Danish society is taking that shine off me. I now adorn some grey and drab colours being their most cherished colour code. Continue reading

“Hmmn. Stella, Did you say you want to study abroad? Na wao. As if there’s no Unilag (University of Lagos)? Some people get big eye sha”. You know your father cannot afford abroad for you…And you’re looking for £1k. Do you know how much that is?” And I said, Yes I know, it’s N100k. Some years ago!
And my friend laughed. Ignored me and didn’t say a word to me again. After some quirky moments of silence, I left her shop. A few months later I got a Scholarship to study abroad. I got a paid scholarship to study in Denmark. Oh wow! Continue reading
I am sitting here on my sofa, covered up with a blanket, in the deep freezing wintry weather of a December morning. And I am deep in thoughts of the things I should have done better in 2017.
I’ve been reflecting on this year and casting introspective glances at my life. So, finally, we’ve almost come to the close of the year, 2017 and there is little I can do at this time to change things. Whatever I have accomplished remains and those goals that couldn’t be birthed has to be moved to the to-do list for the coming year. Indeed, I can’t halt time neither can I stop the year from ebbing into history. Oh yes, 2017 must exit the stage and take up residence in history where it will be celebrated in the party of past memories. Continue reading
