I took a good look at my nails now and all I have to do is to use some colourful nail polish on them. Those finely manicured artificial nails are beautiful but they restrict me. I indulge in them when the need arises.
I took a decision a while back and I stopped doing all the acrylic and gel stuff because of the destruction of my nails. Hmmn, I don’t know about you, but my nails became weak and brittle. These artificials also leads to dystrophic nails and they look awful when taken off. Continue reading
Washington DC In A Nutshell – Part 2
Let’s get going with some historical facts. Washington DC has tons of free museums. One need not bother with those that charge admission fees except if duly needed. It is pertinent to mention that The Smithsonian has 19 museums and there is every likelihood that one will never see all of them if on a short trip where only a few days will be spent. However, ideally, it is a good idea to prioritize the most popular places. Some of the best, for both adults and children which I’d recommend, is the Air and Space Museum for those with technical inclinations. The Natural History Museum; American History Museum, and the Archives. These are popular attractions for a reason which you should find out. Continue reading
Washington DC in a Nutshell:
Travelling it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. – Ibn Battuta
Whenever I visit new cities, one thing I do is to try and find a few unique things to do in the evenings. I start by asking Mr Google for directions and for some iconic places of interest to visit. I always like to know the tourist attractions of any destination I travel to even before my arrival in such a place. Besides fun activities and an adventure on local foodies of the land, I like doing a bit of ‘nerding’ out in Museums to check out antiques and artefacts. These things fascinate me and I love to have good collages of photographs as souvenirs for the future. It’s hard to share the dozens of photos I’ve so far gathered on this platform. It will definitely take up the whole space in my blog as well. Continue reading
There are various reasons why men are important in the world. And even more important to the womenfolk. Haha.

Good Morning Friends! It’s a brand new day here and it’s 11.30 am.

Palm wine is well liked throughout West Africa where some 10 million people consume it nationwide. Its popularity does not end in Africa, however; it is also a common beverage in India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, among other countries. (Culled from the Inernet). Continue reading
Uchenna is one lady I admire
She has a bespoke intelligence that unnerves everyone
Her outfits suited her beautiful body frame
Carved for her only by the best hands
Nduka was her tailor who turned ordinary fabrics into bespoke clothes for his rich clientele
Uchenna loves to flaunt her bespoke shoes

There are people who make you happy and give you a reason to laugh, smile or talk about them, in a good way. I have a good neighbour who has a pulsating aura of positivity. She always strives to put a smile on people’s faces.
Always, she writes notes on the communication board to anyone who cares to read them. Well, you cannot afford to miss her posts. I always look forward to it.
She would often write:
Have a great day!
Have a nice weekend!
Have a productive week!
And during the Yuletide – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Et al.
She is so sweet that today she wrote something again which I loved and wanted to share with you.
She wrote: Continue reading
I saw them all today. Though the weather is crisp I enjoy the balmy effect as I advance towards the bustling city. I see people walking, strutting, jumping in varied strides.
Each foot lifted forward one after the other in different gait. Everyone was walking in different directions. Everyone in their thoughts walking towards the same goal – to succeed in the day, but taking different directions to get to their destinations. Everyone seemingly working hard to tell a better story at the end of the day. To feel accomplished at the end of time. Continue reading
