Devotional Nuggets – #90

Even though change is constant and one of the regular experiences of any human, it is a fact that no major change is easy. Some changes are hard and confusing. While some are sweet and easy.  But one thing is certain in any type of changes, we are faced with the problem of adaptation to the new transition.

Anyone who has experienced a major change in his or her life knows that it isn’t always easy to adjust to the new lifestyle. Evidently, life changes are going to occur in different forms and guises. Some of them are good while other times, they are bad. Sometimes we have no powers over these changes and we just allow things to flow. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

However, as children of the Most High God, as believers of the word, with each change, let one thing remain constant – your dependence on the Lord. Your dependence on the word of God. Matthew 28:20

God is ever present if we seek him. He does not go on vacations neither does he retire. Oh yes, he is ever constant and ever ready to listen to our supplications. He is our strength, our hope, our peace.  Amen.

God is ever with you through thick and thin. During good times and bad times. Therefore, instead of that forlorn feeling of dejection, lean on Him as you adjust to your new status.  And to the changes taking place in your life.

There is nothing too hard for our God.

I pray that He will prove Himself in that tough situation you are passing through today.

I pray that God will be with you throughout those moments when life brings you forcefully into detrimental and drastic changes.

Life is fragile. Life is strange. Life is mysterious. Life is a roller coaster. Life is deep.

Handle it with prayers.

Handle it with the word of God.

Pray and never relent for there is power in prayers.

“Our days are a kaleidoscope. Every instant a change takes place. New harmonies, new contrasts, new combinations of every sort. The most familiar people stand each moment in some new relation to each other, to their work, to surrounding objects.” – Henry Ward Beecher
