It’s a lovely Monday morning and I can see the birds flying, the trees gently swaying, the Sky looking down on us and the Sun is up too, shining beautifully.
For that I am GRATEFUL.
May you have a reason to smile today. And even laugh! Feel free to laugh ‘cos Nature bestowed it freely to us all.
And yesterday was Father’s Day. Yess! Our fathers deserved some accolades and I hope you lavished some niceties on the fathers in your life.
I believe that being a father is one of the toughest jobs in the world especially being a good father, and taking up responsibilities of catering for your family without being reminded of them.
You are all heroes in very special ways to your families whether they tell you this or not.
Dear fathers, I hope you enjoyed some thrilling moments with family. Did you receive any special gifts yesterday? Perhaps, you can share some of the wonderful surprises you experienced and those fondest weird things your kids told you. Hmmn!
As you are still basking in the joys of a successful weekend, here is something I’d like us to take away from this morning post.
“The greatest thing a father can do for his children is to respect the woman that gave birth to his children. It is because of her that you have the greatest treasures in your life. You may have moved on, but your children have not. If you can’t be her soulmate, then at least be thoughtful. Whom your children love should always be someone that you acknowledge with kindness. Your children notice everything and will follow your example.” – Shannon L. Alder
I call this *Word on marble.* Only the wise will understand the true meaning of the above quote.
Stay well. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
Peace and Love!
