Start your new year with a new tradition or challenge.
I call it the jars challenge. One jar is your daily jar and one is your weekly jar. Put one dollar (use your own currency) each day in your daily jar. Your weekly jar corresponds to the week of the year.
For example, this is the first week of the year so you will put one dollar in your weekly jar. Next week two dollars, third week three dollars, etc. Of course any currency of your choice – Euro, Danish Kroners, whatever!
At the end of the year, instead of a big credit card bill, your holiday fun fund will be in the jars. You will have nearly 2 thousand dollars or euros by the end of the year for your holiday shopping or travels or charity donation or whatever you intend to use it for.
Start saving today. Make it part of your new year goals. Change your usual status quo and try out something new and different. Thank me later. 🙂
Peace and Love!

Yes… But I don’t have my own money… Its with my parents… So I can’t follow it daily

I can understand. And you don’t have to indulge in it. It’s for those who can afford to save daily though the amount is according to one’s earning capacity. And a personal choice too.

Great. Let’s hear how much you are able to get out of it at the end of the year. Good-luck with it. 🙂

I love this… So simple and effective. Just gotta put your mind to it 🙂 Brilliant. Are you doing it yourself?

Yes Dearie. It’s part of my new year deal. Let’s see if I will be disciplined to not abort it halfway.

What about we check on each other weekly to see if the other one is hanging on? 😉 I think I’ll add a third pot, for loose change (under 1$) 🙂

That too is another good idea. Those coins will be happy to cool off in there. Lol. How about like a monthly check up?

Sounds cool… I am thinking about something else, too, if you allow me to reblog your post to share the good idea 🙂
