According to the dictionary, a Trademark is a symbol, word, or words legally registered or established by use as representing a company or product.
Trademarks are registered with the appropriate authority to obtain legal ownership and protection rights. These rights are protected worldwide by international intellectual property treaties and may be assigned by their owner to other parties.
Trademarks identify and distinguish the source of the goods of one party from those of others.
The above is the WordPress registered trademark.
It can also be seen as the registered insignia, logo or emblem of this platform that we all converge in, to pen down our ideas and thought processes.
It’s the image and symbol that identifies this incredible community called – WordPress. And this W-shaped arch is recognized all over the world.
