When the vicissitudes of life overwhelm me
When life’s obstructions frustrates me
When the picture before me appear hazy and unclear
When my heart is empty and lonely
When there is no one else to run to
When it seems like all hope is lost and gone
I hold on to the Infallible Word of God
I succumb
To The
Awesome power in the Spoken Word
The Word is like a hammer
That can break down obstacles
The Potent Power in the Word
Destroys seemingly insurmountable challenges
When Life’s burdens weigh me down
And the pains become too heavy
I succumb
To the awesome Powers
The incredible Powers
In
Prayers

God- the only one we should submit to. Not to fear, not to anger, not to anything evil throws at us. Great poem

What a beautiful poem, Stella! I really appreciate your love of God and the sacred honor of prayer for you. I also experience the strength and assistance that comes with surrender, especially when I really need help. This is a perfect contribution to Forgiving Fridays, Stella – I am so overjoyed to share it tomorrow. Yay! Blessings and peace to you, Debbie
