Water is everywhere, literally. It is a chemical with the chemical formula, H20. Water is the most abundant molecule on Earth. Approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface is water. Water is also the only substance on Earth which naturally occurs in a solid, liquid and gas form.
If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water. – Loren Eiseley
Water is the driving force in nature. – Leonardo da Vinci
Water is one of the basic necessities of everyday life. We need to drink plenty of water daily and of course, we wouldn’t cook or wash or keep our environments clean without water.
What’s in water (H20)?
As I drank a glass of water this morning, I realized how refreshing water can be. I sat and thought for a moment what life would have been without water.
Water like air, keep our bodies alive. Water is practically used for everything.
It’s a household necessity. Can you imagine a home without water? It is an essential commodity which is used for various important purposes.
Agricultural products cannot survive without water. Which means that water plays the most important role in agriculture. It ensures proper plant growth and a key component for our vegetations. What would the farmers do without water?
The importance of water in industries cannot be over-emphasized. Just think about the hospitals, can they exist without water? Certainly not. Now, imagine other facets of life, where the use of water is key for production and development. It’s simply an integral part of our existence that we cannot ignore. Isn’t it?
I gulped down this life saver and I felt satisfied. And I said a quiet ‘Thank You Lord’ for the gift of water. So refreshing! So satisfying! So pleasant!
So I thought to share this, to remind us of this incredible gift of nature that is often times overlooked. Let’s be grateful for the simple things in life, like water.
“For if there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.”
So important is water, that it was created on the very first day – Genesis 1:2.
Now, take a moment and look around you for those important insignificant little things we neglect or don’t take notice of… and be grateful for them. Look around you and appreciate that glass of water you cannot do without as you enjoy your meals today.
And water, water, water, is the only satisfying thirst quencher.
And It Symbolizes Purity!
Show gratitude even for the simple things of life.
