Everyone ran helter-skelter in search of somewhere to hide from the bullets flying around. Hearts were palpitating and pounding in quick gait. People ran forward, then backwards, trying to escape the glaring death. His heart was pounding in his chest but there was little he could do. His will to survive gave him extra strength as he increased his speed fearing to succumb to such untimely death.
A hail of bullets was unleashed at a car parked across the road, puncturing the fuel tank and the sides. It was something better imagined than experienced. And he ran as far as his body could carry him.
Just when he reached for his keys as he approached his red car parked at the corner approximately 200 meters away from the bank, where he had gone to carry out some transactions that morning before the robbers invaded the place, he heard gunshots and he felt as if his blood were on fire.
He began to slowly disconnect from his body. He let out a thunderous scream with the little energy he could muster. And just then, the alarm clock bellowed over his head and jolted him up from his deep sleep.
