Devotional Nuggets – #57

As humans, we are not perfect. We are prone to mistakes and failures but this should not dictate our lives. It is true that we may have made lots of mistakes in the past. We may have taken decisions that turn out bad and is robbing us of our inner peace. We may have been betrayed by those we trusted so well in the past.

Indeed, there are mistakes that hurts so bad and causes us deep wounds and scars.

Nonetheless, there is always a NEW BEGINNING. There is always a fresh start. But, we have to try to forget the past deeds that hurt us and develop a positive and new outlook every single day. “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old”…

  1. I hope you don’t find this irreverent, but I would modernize this to say:

    Behold, I am doing a new thing;
    Now it springs forth, do you not perceive
    it? I will make a way into your heart
    with a river of love.
