Devotional Nuggets – #24

So sorry that I couldn’t be here yesterday morning with my usual musings. I woke up feeling sick.  So, I left my PC alone and all I needed was to drink my fav tea, close up all noises and sleep. Well, thank God for strength today to carry on. Hope you had a great weekend and ready to face the week. I wish you the best in your endeavours today.

So lets start the day!!!

Take a step of FAITH and God will take over:

Every exercise of faith demands corresponding action. When David ran towards Goliath with faith, God took over and he won the battle. When the Israelites came to the Red Sea, there was a great panic because the Egyptians were pursuing after them and there seem to be no way of scape.  And while Moses was praying, God said to him, “Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward” – Exodus 14: 15…

When you are confronted with a problem, you don’t only pray. Do what you can and God will do what you can’t.

Do your best and God will do the rest.

Start taking steps towards the success and advancement that you seek and desire.  You desire financial increase? Then take the necessary steps.

You have to begin the process of whatever you desire. No one will render help except they see the progress you are making. And the moment you start the process, you will be amazed at how much response you’d get in a short time.

You want to enjoy more marital harmony than you are doing now?  Take the steps:  Husband, start loving your wife more… And wife, start submitting to your husband more… You know those things that will cause both of you to laugh instead of quarrels. Practice giving the love that you seek.

Take steps and God will take over the case. God cannot act except you give him a tool to work with –  your honest efforts and faith.

Thus, prayer without action is self-deceit.

Good morning everyone.  With a joyful heart, I welcome you to this brand new day and week.  A day which the lord has made. May God make a way for you where there seem to be no way.

Peace and Love!

  1. I hope you feel better soon! I agree with you-prayer is important, but God helps those who help themselves…You can’t just sit back on your butt and hope God sends good things your way.
