A Thief Of Precious Time!

Mr. Procrastinator is a thief of time

Do you know the aftermath of his actions?

Pain, regret, self-pity and failure

Once I had a chance to do something

But Mr. Procrastinator visited me

What I needed to do today

I left it for tomorrow

But alas tomorrow never ended and here

I am today still wondering why

I let such golden opportunity

Slip away.

Procrastination has killed many souls

Left many in terrible conditions

Stealing their joys away

When they fail to tackle the tasks on time

Or handle the challenges and situations before them

Mr. Procrastinator is indeed

A thief of precious time

Don’t be a victim anymore

Peace and Love!

  1. Mr. Procrastinator is a day thief and unknowingly comes in one’s life.
One shall know him when one’s things he has stolen, which one cannot claim back.
He has to be shot point blank the moment when one hears his footsteps.
    Good Post!
Simple but with lots of Dimple thoughts.

    • Hahaha. Yeah, shooting him first is the way to go by standing up with actions that will curtail it’s excesses in our lives. Shiver, you know the impact of his acts so stopping him before he gets to the door is taking a pragmatic step. Thanks for your insights. I have displayed my dimples by smiling at your response. Have a great day. 🙂

    • Oh I was a chronic one before I realised the strong grip on me. It took me a while to wriggle myself away from the tight hold of procrastination. Well, I’m also a recovering procrastinator. I guess there are many of us in this club. Lol

  2. Hahahah! This feels so true to me! Even though Mr. Procrastinator is a thief, he still feels so like my bae. By going through your post, I guess I need to work on him. Really nice post! It was fun to read!
