Devotional Nuggets – #14

Dear beloved!

I am writing you this today to tell you that life is full of challenges. And that there are strong forces fighting us as humans but most especially as even Christians. Oh yes, we don’t see those strong forces but they hover round. I call them monitoring spirits.

Okay, I have observed that these forces lay a siege on good and nice people. They throw different challenges at good people and I wondered why.

Well, experience has proven that being a nice person qualifies one for attacks… well, sadly so too.

I tell you. That you are ‘good, nice, helpful to the needy with a loving heart, qualifies you to be a target. The enemy doesn’t like anything good, remember!

Again, a peep into your future would have revealed who God is preparing you to become… another reason why they would want to rain attacks on you to prevent God’s plans from manifesting. Surely, you wouldn’t help but marvel if shown the entire picture. Dark forces are determined to disrupt God’s agenda and plans.

Permit me to recommend these two things to help someone stay victorious:

  • Don’t allow bitterness, envy, hatred, lies, unforgiveness or defilement to be in you. They make the enemy strong while you open up room for them to invade your life. Instead walk in love and peace. These light up your life and cripple all works from wicked forces.
  • Fill yourself with The Word of God. Be a person of effective prayers, who doesn’t rely on his/her understanding but on the leading of the Lord no matter how insensible that may be.

From Bible days till now, Prayer is the secret behind the victories of great giants and kingdom legends.

I pray that you will always triumph and come out victorious from any form of attack by the forces of darkness. I pray that you will overcome the many challenges and obstacles that life throws at you.

May YOU begin to experience a new lease of life as you key into the spiritual realm through prayers.

Peace and Love!

  1. Stella, Morning , Lovely post as always. As good people we are sensitive to everyone’s feeling. We would rather get hurt than hurt.

Love the whole piece. Well written. The intro set the scene beautifully.

    Good Day
    Regards Bella

    • You’re right, Bella. This was actually a personal tale. Surprisingly, good people suffer the most that one begins to wonder why… 🙂
